My thanks to all of you for your kind comments. I have discovered that the quilters here on this board are a wonderful group of people. So supportive, helpful and gracious. God bless!

Your yard is so pretty. The garden makes me so nostolgic. When DH was alive we lived in Oregon and had a grand garden every year. I picked the things to grow and helped plant, he was Mr. McGregor, not a weed in sight, and we enjoyed the fruits of our labor all winter long...jams, relishes, pickles. We hunted so had venison and fished at Brookings and canned salmon and froze bottom fish...ah what great memories.

Your gardens are beautiful and enjoy them now for summer will be a memory of the past. When harvest is complete your fall and winter hobby will be waiting for you. We do not have to be a slave to all our hobbies. Enjoy the ones you have for outdoors now for winter will offer you the time inside. :-D
