    The Quilting Owls

Just finished all the applique-done by hand for this wall quilt. It is for our quilting teacher/friend Frances. Frances has a blog called quilting owl so that gives an indication that she loves owls. We have already picked out which owl she is as well as others that resemble other members of our group. Frances is going to hang this in her studio. Frances is an avid quilter and also gets her quilts/patterns published in Australian Patchwork & Quilting.

Very cute quilt and even cuter idea naming those owls after other group members!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Did you make up the pattern for each owl or was there a pattern?
