Thanks everyone. I'll update you after the fundraiser and let everyone know how it went. They're having a whole hog dinner, raffle, auction, one of our semi-professional musicians will be playing as well. Everything has been donated including the hogs for the dinner; so many kind people!! I can tell you that the tickets to the dinner are selling like hot cakes!!

Barb sweetie, not to worry, prayers and good thoughts are worth gold :).

Lisa...you know, all you have to do is ask...you will recieve!
Heck, I'd even donate a boat with oars/paddles for a trip here to Guam! No gas necessary, muscle power! lol
I hope the event is a success and you make TONS of money.
Hugs to your family!

Thanks Izy!! You're right about the generous open-hearted people here! It's amazing isn't it?

Terri, I know sweetie, and thank you so very much. The benefit came about very quickly, with not a whole lot of time to prepare. I had asked in chat one night about "quickie quilts" because I only had about 3 weeks to get one ready. Our wonderful gals gave me all kinds of wonderful ideas, and then made quilts to donate to boot. See, you need to come chat with us more often girlfriend :D. I wonder if we get donations per linear mile on that row boat idea LOL. I paddle left, you paddle right
