My friend Erin is expecting her second daughter next month. I made a quilt for the new baby and a baby doll quilt for her big sister.

Love both quilts, great pattern and material choices. What a nice idea to include a quilt for big sister's baby doll. She can cover her doll and momma can cover new baby. Great idea for future baby quilts :D

Those are gorgeous--and what a sweet idea. Remembering the older siblings is important. You're are terrific. :D

Thanks everyone. I actually got the inspiration for doing the dolly quilt on here...someone had sent doll quilts to jbsstrawberry's girls (I think) and I thought that was such a sweet idea. Now I'm making them for nieces for 2nd birthdays.

I love the fabrics that you used and I love the idea that you made a doll quilt too. Every little girl likes to be just like mommy and now she and mommy will both have babies with matching quilts.
