I sent 4 of these off to Quilts for Kids last week. Just got my e-mail confirmation back a few minutes ago. (it reminded me to share with you) One was from a kit and the other 3 from my stash. They put out a call for teen age boy quilts so I have been working on getting some of those put together. There are 5 here, the 5th will go out next week with some of the new ones.

Between Tuesday and yesterday I have sewn together 6 more tops, 2 from kits from my local rep and 4 from my stash. I hope to sandwich them tonight.

Oops, they are all sideways. Oh well, you can still see them!!!!

This is the one from their kit

I found out recently that we have a local chapter. I met our point person at Guild mtg on Tuesday. I will be giving more of my quilts locally now.

They still want the same size for the teens. It is more for comfort than as a "blanket" I'm just using fabrics that are more "guy" and not childish. Some of these fabrics were in quilts I made for my son and our German Exchange student. I will run them past my DH first.

Almost anything that a woman might find "ugly" would probably work for a teenage boy!!!
