I joined the local quilters guilt last fall and then joined one of the many groups who make quilts for veterans. I decided to do my own quilting rather than have other group members do it for me, mostly just because I love doing the quilting on my Janome 6600P and it keeps me in practice for my own projects. This one is nearly finished.

This is what is on my design board, and I've added several other blocks since taking this photo. More photos to come in the future on both of these, and I'm sure several more before this year is over.
This is also my first attempt at making a sampler and am having a good time! =D

Your quilts and quilting are gorgeous. I love to see how others combine colors and prints! I learn so much on this board. The colors are striking in the star quilt.
