I thought that I would post pics of my quilts here.

The first one is a mystery quilt I made at a class and I have named it 'Hope Quilt'. It has poem I wrote that and it is on the back of the quilt. It is dedicated to my mom.

The second quilt is a quilt that was produced from teaching a newbie how to make blocks and then putting them together and finally hand quilting the quilt. It is named 'Flower Garden'.

The last quilt is made of scraps that was going to thrown out by my local fabric shop as these were remnants and cut offs. I added the silk, the black in the border and the flowered panels from my stash. As I had no pattern to work to, I named the quilt 'Love has no plan'.

Thank you for dropping by and for your comments.

Thank you for your comments. I decided that I would let the scraps do the talking. It seemed to work. I have another one that I am not working towards a plan and it is a 19" table topper. I'll post it when its done.

You could give it a go? Like, a crazy block but work it to say a rectangle and even the edges off. Use strips to join the rectangular blocks together and make the quilt to the size you want. Once to you have tried it the first time, you probably will find it a lot easier and tempting to try another! I know that I have!! Best wishes!

I try and scrimp and save and as far as possible recycle what I can which is what is in the last quilt. Thank you for your comments.
