Default Quilts on the Wharf - My First Quilt Show

This quote that I saw here on QB started it all - 'If you can imagine it, you can make it happen'

And so yesterday I held my first outdoor-ish quilt show and despite a lot of hard work leading up to and on the day, it was a huge success and we had hundreds of people, quilters and non quilters come to browse.

Here are some of the photos taken of the displays of quilts. All quilts hung were made by me - with the exception of the online swap quilts from my dear QB friends - and about half were from my black/white/red 'moment'. The other quilts were fun quilts, word play quilts and two quilts I have made to donate to our local Cancer Council branch for display.

Wow, love Mrs. scrap bags, too cute. Your quilts are amazing! The red, white and black are my favorites.
