    Raffle Quilt for Library

My Quilt Group made this quilt to raffle off to raise money for our local library. All hand appliqued. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing group of seniors!! Thank you so much QB for giving so much inspiration each day!

I think I am finished with the quilting. Didn't know if I should quilt anything in the sashing since there is so much quilting already and didn't want to detract from the beautiful applique. What do you think?

Oops forgot, the block pattern was from a free site online. Sorry I can't find the pattern with the name on it. If I do I will post it.

Very lovely, someone will be most fortunate to receive it. The design is really great.

That is stunning! Hope it wins lots of money before some blessed person wins it! I would leave the sashing unquilted, personally

Beautiful and so worth while. The library is sure to benefit from this raffle, who wouldn't buy a chance at that beauty.

I don't think I would do anything in the sashing. Leave it just as it is and let the beautiful applique take center stage. Great job on the quilting.

"Piecin' a quilt's like livin' a life...The Lord sends us the pieces, but we can cut 'em out and put 'em together pretty much to suit ourselves, and there's a heap more in the cuttin' and the sewin' than there is in the caliker...I've had a heap of comfort all my life making quilts, and now in my old age I wouldn't take a fortune for them."
