    Default Ragtime Cowboy Connor

I just finished this rag quilt for my DGS to use on his new twin-size loft bed in his cowboy bedroom. The top is regular cotton quilting material, the backing is muslin, and the "batting" is flannel. I designed the layout around the large "picture" squares and included some of the material I made his curtains out of. He'll turn 6 in a couple weeks, so it's an early birthday present. The second picture shows how the borders "fence in" the quilt.

How nice. I'll bet he'll love it! Six is an important age so I'm glad he's getting a special quilt.

That's so cute! I like how the frayed edges frame each square. Really makes the design pop.
