Rahr! New quilt (Two big pics)

I like quilting (obviously). I also like giant monster movies - almost all of them. But Godzilla will always be my favorite. So I made a Godzilla quilt. The quilt's title is Baby's First Steps.

The first one is the not quite finished (aka no quilting). The second, not as good pic, is the finished quilt. It's a wall-hanging (30x40), and the quilting pattern is Godzilla footprints and tail-drag marks through the city.

Sorry for the HUGE pics, but I wanted to share and haven't managed to re-size pics yet!

Cute idea the way you quilted this! I've also heard of quilters quilting the recipient's name, like for a grandchild.....I keep forgetting to do this!

I'm a Godzilla-girl too! Raised on the stuff with my brother. Your quilt is absolutely adorable and I think that the tipped, burning cars are like a garnish on the lizard cake.
