That is so cool! My 13 year old granddaughter has asked me to make a quilt for her. We're going shopping for fabric this weekend. This gives me the idea to let her take an active part in making the quilt whenever possible. She keeps really busy with school activities, but maybe we can carve out a few days together.

That is going to be beautiful. I love the picture of your hands together on the sewing machine. I would frame it and hang it on my wall.
