    Default Rainy Night Windows

Just finished the top of my first ever art quilt. It is my impression of a photo a friend took. First I will post the photo, then the flimsy.
I need to figure out the backing since it will hang on a wall. Perhaps denim or something stiff like that?
The flimsy looks wavy and crooked, but that's the way it's stuck to the design wall. It's really squared up and flat, except for a few wiggles in the sashing. I don't know why it did that as I was sewing perfectly flat pieces together.

I forgot to add, the window blocks finish at 5" and the sashings are 3". It's a large wall hanging but I think my son can use it. He has a new place with lots of bare walls.

What you created is magical! I love how you interpreted the rain through the windows. Absolutely wonderful.

Great wallhanging. You should frame the photo and have your son hang them both in the same general area, see if his friends notice the similarities.
