ran out of the 4" border fabric and my LQS won't be open again till next tuesday, bah humbug, so can't do any more on this one. i was hoping to be able to start stippling it over the weekend. i had a hard time picking out the fabrics for the 1" and 4" borders. do yall think it looks ok in the colors i picked?

still a little unsure of the colors

yup, love it. It has great movement and will certainly be a conversation piece. Is it a gift, or a keeper??? I'd chose the latter if I were you!!

yes it is all batiks except for that green 1" border. and it's a keeper - that is probably until the next time my daughter comes to visit, she always takes a quilt or 2 home with her, she loves quilts but she wouldn't make one if somebody held a gun to her head. she took 2 home last summer when she came. but of course i don't mind at all, i'm glad she likes them. and thanks for the compliments.

I think it looks great, much better had I chosen the colors. I love the way the whole thing looks, bummer about having to wait, I know that feeling.
