OMG!!! That is an amazing quilt. I wish I could quilt like that by hand. And, in fact, did one quilt with a lot of real close stitching but realized that the time it took wasn't a very economical use of my time. A lot of time, I quilt in the ditch if it is a gift quilt so I can get it to the recipient quicker. Question... Is there any reason you didn't quilt the sashing? It seems to look a little lonesone all by itself with no quilting especially since there is so much on the rest of the quilt. Not criticizing, just wondering.

OOps!!! I just went back to look at the quilt again and saw that the pinwheels weren't quilted so I can see the continuity of not quilting the sashing. Sorry. I'm old and on drugs* so can't be held responsible. *(cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, etc., etc.) LOL
