That is the greatest compliment when a quilt is still being used long after it was presented. I made my DS a bright blue and black Triple Irish Chain for his bed when he was about 12. Fast forward several years, every time he left home he took it with him and every time he returned it returned with him. That spoke volumes.

That's all we want as quilters. Someone who loves their gift & uses it forever. What a great feeling that must give you. Lovely quilt, by the way.

How sweet of your niece to reinforce her thank you with a still beautiful quilt. Must have given you that warm fuzzy feeling of satisfaction.

Very pretty quilt. Your niece is very thoughtful. It is so nice to see recipients of our quilts, love & appreciate them like she does. Makes you feel soooo good!
