Here are pictures of the bookmarks for an order I just put in the mail today. Thought I would share them. I know I have put on pics before of differant bookmarks but I thought the newbies might like to see them. I have been using dark colors as I sell in an Amish area and that is what the store owner prefers but I thought since this is not for her I would do a few with brighter colors. The yellow is a color she doesn't want me to use so it is fun to be able to stretch and do something new to me color wise. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks Norbana and Marsye and Amma.I think they turned out ok. The lady who ordered them is going to give them out to her guild members on the 15th. So I was trying to clear up some of my other orders so I could get these done and out to her in time.

Thank you for the compliment Barnbum! I do have these on my online store. Everything right now is made as I get the order and I have a list of orders I am working on. I hope to get some stock built up this winter.

I do have the Boston Block bookmark directions in one of my free tutorials Konstantin put in his newsletter earlier this year. If anyone wants the link I can post it again.

    These make great stocking stuffers!

I'm posting all my free links and my websites so you can pick what you want to see. I thought maybe the other projects links might interest someone for stocking stuffers or gifts also

When you make bookmarks - you can use any of my blocks. You can see the Boston Block and the Star Point Block on my free website if you don't have the EBook. I use 12- 1 1/2" blocks for a bookmark or I use 8 - 1 1/4" blocks for a bookmark. The 1 1/4" needs a border but you can add a larger border and cut it down to the size you want. I aim for 2 1/2" x 7 1/2" for my bookmarks but they do vary some.

Thanks Sewfun no I don't paper piece. I have created my own shortcuts. I use what I call my cut down method. I sew swatches together and then cut out a block from the center with a template.

You can see my Boston Block on my free teaching site
BitsnPieces Workshop the link is above

Here is the link for the Boston Block and there are other blocks on there as well. Just click on home and scroll down to Blocks and you will see several buttons for other "Blocks"

    http://www.bitsnpiecesworkshop.com/p...stonBlocks.php

If you click on the bookmark link above you will see my directions for making a bookmark using the Boston Block. '

    thanks for asking!
