[quote=mary quite contrary]This is the latest project I have been working. The pattern was Victorian tablerunner by Southwind designs that I turned into a queensize quilt. I need to decide quilting now.

Beautiful Job Mary! That is a gorgeous quilt!!! Great job turning a table runner into a large quilt. I will frequently turn lap quilts into queens but havn't done that from a table runner yet.

Oh my gosh, Mary, that is absolutely stunning! I can't believe your non-fear of mixing so many background fabrics together, your colours are wonderful! And curves, oh my gosh, that is so very pretty :) :) :)

after going and looking at the web site, I know you must be very talented. The table runner is beautiful, but for you to be able to convert that pattern to a quilt, I am in awe...

The pattern is Victorian table runner by Southwinds that I turned into a queensize quilt.

There is actually no curved seams. There is an extra piece of fabric sewn into the seam that after it is put together the extra piece is folded back on the bias then stitched down. That is part of what will make quilting this so interesting.

I tried to take a close up so you can see the stitching.

The LQS has asked if I would put it in the Dallas quilt show. I'm a little skeptical. I've never done anything like that. We'll see what it looks like after I get done quilting.
