Aren't the colors and fabric prints so unusual? This is just lovely. One would think everything was dull brown and gray. OBTW what makes this "Real"?

That is a spectacularly beautiful quilt

I've been collecting antique and repro fabrics for years.
A friend and I are making one that appears in a Roberta Horton book - just a picture, no instructions, so we figured it out.
We're also doing 2 others (we've alot of fabrics) a Jo Morton (handpiecing) and an 1800s cot quilt from England - this also from a picture.
Someday at least one will be done and I'll post it.
