I "rescued" this quilt top from an antique shop in Fortuna, CA this summer. Brought it home and have started to hand quilt. The top is all hand pieced. Someone spent a lot of time on this top and I intend to make it special to hand down to my family.

I have one that looks just like that. Someone in my mom's family made the top. We found it after my grandmom died. Had a lady at work finish it.....that was before I stated dabbling in quilting. I am on #5. It is so much fun!!

I have one that looks very similar. I helped my mom piece it, probably 15 years ago, and a friend of hers quilted it. She used the same green as in yours! I'll have to unfold mine and take another look at it.

I have one like that hanging in my bed room. the fabrics have deteriorated. It was my great Grandma's. I'm working on one for myself right now. Evening busy work for TV watching when not in the mood to actually sew.

Your so very very luck and it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!
