Hi Fabricnut,

The quilt is still really soft and has a nice drape..I used Hobbs poly down batting. You have to lay down a ton of thread for that stuff to become stiff. I think, how densely something is quilted is all very subjective. Some would think this isn't quilted enough and others would think this is densely quilted.
