    Really Bright Orange!

My grandson and his new wife visited me last month from Tacoma, WA. Stephanie is such a sweet gal, I just wanted to make her a quilt. She likes orange and brown. This is the best I could do with those colors. Since it is so bright I offered to tone it down with Tan Rit Dye but she loves it as it is. That is Lili peeking out from under it.

I love it too...think we are all afraid of using color boldly -- but when we see it done so well, it pleases us immensley!

I would NEVER attempt to tone down such a quilt. People either love this kind of thing or hate it. It is perfect as it and I'm very happy she loves it. For sure it it is bright! But bright is nice--cheery and definitely is an attention-getter!

Beautiful! Love the bright yellow - lovely contrast for the orange and brown.

Lili was a foundling so we don't know for sure. Her vet thought maybe part Jack Russell terrier.

I think orange is a color you love or don't....your grand-daughter in law obviously loves it - and you were right on the mark with your choice of colors.
