I picked up the book with the pattern in it on my way to vacation last summer. It has other patterns that are pretty cute too. Called Cut, Sew, Quilt as you go. Leisure Arts published the book. By Sheri Bignell. There are 6 projects in the book. I am making another one like this one because I liked it so much and I had enough fabric to do another one....scraps with the same color scheme.

I feel the same way. I've never seen a rag quilt with applique before. It's stunning as are the fabric colors used.

I'm not sure I like rag quilts, but this one is great; Very pretty and love the colors. I bet this pattern would work up great as a regular quilt too!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

I have never wanted to make a rag quilt UNTIL.......I laid eyes on your rag quilt. It is the most beautiful rag quilt I have seen. I love the appliqued design breaking up the rag part of the quilt. Just wonderful, thanks for showing this to us all...it is so pretty.

That is THE prettiest rag quilt I have ever seen too. Have done quite a few baby rags, but never a large one and am not thinking that may just be a plan.

This is the first rag quilt I have ever seen that I thought was really pretty! I know they have their uses and they are really warm and cuddly, but yours is all that and more! It is truly lovely to look at!
