I also made the strips a little bigger so the end result was a bigger Santa. It's all up to individual preference. Hope this helps and have fun making some. They are additive as I did 8 of them.
I have the site bookmarked and will check it out. Looks like it has some nice projects.

The finished size was about 12 x 12 but you could make them any size my increasing the width of the log cabin strips or by adding additional rounds. I gave the web size in a previous reply.
