Thank you for all the kind words everyone.
You all are right - Rita is beautiful...inside and out. She is one of the kindest, most caring people I've ever known. Her picture shows a lot of her personality. She almost always finds the fun in things.
Dawn, there is one huge problem with this quilt.... I didn't get my act together in time to have you sew one of your gorgeous labels for it. LOL - they always feel like the crowning touch!

I was happy how the quilt turned out. Always wanted to do a controlled scrappy log cabin. There have been some real beauties posted on the QB and it is inspiring. Can't wait to see yours Love to Sew!

That is a beautiful log cabin. I want to make a scrappy one and I have been cutting my scraps to 1 1/2" getting ready for it. Still need more though, so have awhile before I start it. Just love yours.
