Default Recovery quilt for a friend

Being a cancer survivor I know that the diagnosis & treatment can take a toll on you mentally and physically. When we found an old friend was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I had just happened to see a quilt panel kit on Shabby Fabrics. I ordered the pattern, Comfort of Psalms by Block Party, and the Psalms panel. When it arrived I realized I liked Shabby Fabrics layout better as it included all 10 of the Psalms quotes, so I drew up my own version of theirs, used my stash and added a 6" border to increase the size after washing to 49" x 57", a good lap size. I backed it with an embossed cuddle cloth. It will be mailed on Wednesday.

Does anyone know why I can't attach pictures on the original text, but have to add an advanced reply to be able to get the icon for pictures to work?

Your quilt is lovely and I hope your friend receives comfort from knowing you care.

as to the picture thing, I always struggle with that as well, but I usually make my post, then go back in and edit it, and that gets the photos in.

Perfect quilt for recovery! I used the same panel pieces for a quilt for my cousin going through cancer treatment. She is done with treatment and doing well.

Why aren’t you “going advanced” in your original post to attach the pictures?
