I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Thanks for the tip of using a silverware tray - that's ingenious - and using this as your leaders and enders!!! What is the width of the strips you used, what is the size of the finished blocks and what is the size of your quilt. I seriously want to do this!!!!

Finished blocks are 12 inches. Strips finish at 1" center block is 2" finished.

Bonnie Hunter uses recycled men's shirting in almost all of her quilts. There are many free patterns on Quiltville website.
