    Kim, thanks for the pattern link and your quilt is qorgeous with and without the quilting. Good blessings with protecting the color. Why not try washing it in cold water to set the color with that 'dark color,' product that was suggested. You did a wonderful job.

    The link below is to order Color Catchers from KMart - I finally found some at the third store I went to yesterday. Made by SHOUT. Works great. I pre-washed some Christmas fabrics and the sheet came out purple.
