We - the gals at the shop and I - hired our favorite customer to teach us how to do this pattern and the 4-patch posies, last April. I had my blocks finished in mid summer but was waiting for the weather to change, to come back to this project.
My too-much-work-to-do philosophy has me working outside in the garden anytime the weather is decent. With fall in the air now, it gets dark earlier and we're having a rainy spell, so back to the sewing machine I go.

The sashing will be black, with red cornerstones.
Hoping to have it completed by Christmas!
