It's a pattern from free patterns.com that I'd downloaded. It is a pattern by Marian Shenk. The red Sue is only the beginning, but the blocks when completed will be 16" so it won't be so bad for a baby quilt. It does resemble dresden petals on the skirt. I've been working on another in jade green today.

very pretty I love the red with Sunbonnet Sue. She is pretty in blues and blacks too. I did 6 of them in all diffrent colors as each one wanted diffrent colors... :thumbup: :-D

I made one in a jade green today & have blues, brown, purple & yellow as well. Hopefully, that'll be enough to finish this for a baby quilt. Not sure yet if I'll put the border on from the pattern or try something else. I like to play with the patterns. They're only a suggestion. :-)

Becky my DD printed out the pattern for this..I am so anxious to start on one..BUT.. I have 7 other quilts that need finished ahead of it *L* it will have to go in my WHIMM file for later use...thanks for sharing...

Thanks Becky, I found the site and downloaded the pattern. So this is just one block 16" and you will have jade, blue, yellow purple as well, that should be very pretty, be sure to post a pic. of the finished quilt. Thanks so much for sharing the infor on the pattern.
