Red White and Blue Charity quilt update

For those who saw the earlier post - the quilt raffle raised $580 which wasn't too bad for a throw sized
quilt. I was pleased and so were the men at the American Legion post.

That's very pretty. I can't look at it too long, it's making me dizzy LOL. Great job for a great cause!

    This is awesome!
Sometimes you just have to sit in a chair and jog in order to get anywhere.

I won the blocks at a monthly quilt group meeting - we make a different block each month then draw names for the winner who will put the blocks together. Anyway, not sure but I think the block may have come from Quiltville or Quilters Cache. It was designed to be a patriotic block so it may be listed as such on one of those sites.

    Very cool design!
A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

Very nice quilt...the way you alternated fabrics on the binding makes it look like one of those lit up signs that flashes at you. Looks great!

You did a great job, and earning $580 for a charity is even better. Be proud of your work.

Wonderful news!! The quilt is beautiful.

I like to make lists. I also like to leave them laying on my sewing table and then guess what's on the list while at the fabric store. Fun game.
