Default Red White Blue Star Quilt

This is my latest hand piecing project using some of my red white and blue fabrics. I am hand piecing two half hexies together to make a 'hexie' which are then joined together to make the star pattern. I have just laid out the pieced hexies in rows to see how the overall pattern will look and am quite pleased with the result so far. What do you think?

Very nice and different design. It'll be a hit, I'm sure.

Very pretty. I think there's a red hexie in the wrong place on the bottom right - I hate to point it out, but it would be better to find it and fix it now, right?

Don't you just love to hand piece those things? I find it is so relaxing. Great job.

Yes, yes, yes. Maybe one of these days I will take the time to make something with hexagons
