Default Red, White, Blue and Yellow?

I initially got this block pattern in a Mystery quilt along. After making the mystery quilt I kept this block pattern aside thinking I would make a quilt using some 30's scraps that I had. In the end, I bought more fabric to fill in the "gaps" that I used...I hate when that happens LOL! I quilted it with a Big baptist fan stencil, which I have been wanting to try. In retrospect, I think I would have been happier with the finished product if I had done more quilting on it; like more detail in the quarter square triangles. Oh well, it's done :-) Does anyone know the name of the block? I tried to no avail to find a name for it.

The yellow adds pop to the beautiful quilt.

Looks good! I like you privacy fence background. It makes such a nice show place for photos. I moved two years ago and this oddly enough is one of the features of my house I miss most. (I do not miss lawn mowing, leaf raking and 3 bedrooms.)

That is so pretty! I don't know the name of the block. Do you remember who made the mystery quilt? I would ask there.
