My friend is a member of the group where we hand quilt. Her mother owned a needlework store when she was young and she has been doing the most beautiful embroidery since childhood. My friend will be 101 in December and she is an inspiration. She is always so happy and joyful. She is treasured by her family and her friends.❤️

You did a marvelous job at showcasing the red work squares. So precise! I will be interested in seeing the final hand quilted piece. I know, it will be a while but I can wait.

I love doing red work too. I have a Sun Bonnet Sue showing the process of making a quilt, Father Christmas from Bird Brain Designs (birdbraindesings.com) Nutcracker, snowmen. I find the handwork process relaxing. Need to find an affordable floor model Ott light to make the sewing easier on these old eyes.

Job well done, Luvs.

Beautiful and love how you put the blocks together. Have fun hand quilting it-that will be a treasure.

This is a beautiful quilt. I can't wait to see it all hand quilted. Hand quilting is still my favorite way to quilt even though I don't hand quilt much any more.
