    I did this pattern in a workshop but it was called something else - maybe fractures as someone else mentioned, but I think shattered. Whatever the name, the effect is interesting. I love how you framed yours with the same fabric.

    Love this quilt. So interesting what fabric can when cut like this. Gives me an idea for some fabric I have I'm not really crazy about any more. I like the way you "casted" the fracture w/the background. Great job. Kathy

    This seems to be one of those designs that don't work out as originally intended. When I went to put a green border after the black, it just deadened the whole thing. Auditioned 5 or 6 different ones before going to the original fabric. Fortunately I had plenty to keep the birds going in the right direction! Thank you all for the nice comments.
