My husband & I do a shop hop every year. Sometimes another couple goes with us, sometime is is just the 2 of us. Last year my daughter & her husband went with us and we had a ball. We travel about 600 miles, we always spend one night on the road. Our shop hop is in June each year.

I am doing a shop hop in January starting in Jacksonville, Fla. and ending in Deland, Fla. right outside Disney. I cant wait! You did great on your trip.

I lived in Riverside Ca. area for 20 years and never knew of many quilt shops. I know what you mean about the traffic...I drove to Fontana everyday from Moreno Valley and thought I would lose my mind driving. Glad you did so well with all you finds....
