They got sewed together... it's about 26.5" by 29.5". I think I'll trim the borders down a bit after it's quilted--which will be a simple stipple. It's so bumpy from all the seams, I'll have to avoid the intersections. Mark said he wants it to stay here, rather than go to work... so it's going to hang on a white door... it'll look good there, I think.

I was bumming because things didn't line up as nicely as usual, so had to remind myself these are all leftovers from flying geese pieces... and I didn't have as much control over how well things would match up. And they almost went in the garbage after they were cut! After that lecture--everything looked much better.

    Very nice, Karla!
all of the pieces are visually very appealing......the different
colors just keep your eyes moving from shape
to shape (I wouldn't give it away either!)

wow how pretty and to think those little pieces of pretty material almost ended up in the garbage can.
Thank heavens you came to your senses and made this little beauty for a plain white door. Great job!

I love to see how folks use up every little bit of fabrics, I was reading on Bonnie's site how to stitch another line when doing the flying geese then when you trim up you have an instant mini HST for future projects rather than them ending up in the bin :D :D :D

    Great job Karla!! :D

Karla--that is just way too cute! And since you made it out of all scraps it is a found treasure, for sure.

I love it! Anyone that can play with little leftover hst, you rate high in my book!

Anytime I have to do something I really don't care to do, but must, I call it therapy- forces me to refine my skills. This would be therapy for me.

(I say this at the Courthouse when I have to pull a zillion outsales from a development- I have to do it, but I hate standing in one place too long. It's therapy.)
