Reorganized Stash
#1
Finally, I have reorganized all that "stash" so I can see what I have. Used to keep my stash in cardboard boxes with lids, what a pain to find anything. Took about a week, but well worth it. I used the ruler method of folding fabric, works like a charm. Great hint/tutorial on this board.
Also in picture is where I store my rulers, behind a door, on peg board. DH did this for me last year. There are long screws hanging out to catch the holes in the rulers.

Very nicely done. I too stack my fabrics neatly, but when I'm done picking colors for a project, I just fold them any ole way and shove them back in to make room for cutting and so it's never neat for very log.
A while back I read somewhere that Nancy Crow has interns who come in and iron and fold her fabric. Wonder if that's true?
