The shelves I have had forever, they just snap together-either lowes or home depot. I had wanted bulit in shelves but I think if the shelves are to deep I would ever get to whatever is in the back. The fabrics are sorted in storage containers by themes or fabrics I am collecting for future quilts projects-when I print out patterns I print 2, 1 for my binder & another that goes in the storage container w/ the fabric, that way I don't forget what project I was collecting the fabric for.

Your room looks great. I bet you couldn't have done it without your helper ;-)

Lookin' good and I just love the storage for the ribbons. Think I'm going to have to steal that idea from you if you don't mind! :-D

Very, very nicely done!! I have a similar set up in my closet, too. A shelving unit similar to yours and even the back of the door organizer, too. Two great minds! Enjoy, happy sewing.
