When I was very little, maybe 4 my dad brought home two rose bushes, a red one for my sister (Marandy rose) and a yellow one for me. Mom and dad always said it was the Yellow Rose of Texas. I've loved yellow roses all my life.

I remember those. We had them planted in my yard as a kid as my mother loved them
