    Reproduction Applique Quilt

This is a quilt from board member KalamaQuilts, this my favorite quilt of all time. I wish I had patience to do the needle turn that she did. Everything about the quilt was perfect, we used wool batting and I did feathers and ribbon candy. The last picture is of the back. I sure hope she likes it.

Also my 16 year old daughter has not been paying much attention to what I have been quilting unless I ask her to look and she noticed the quilt right away when she came home from school and she said when do I get a quilt out of reproduction fabric and then she brought her yo yo quilt that I have about 800 yo yo's made but can bring my self to stitch them together and they are made of 30's fabric. So once again thanks for looking.

Awesome quilts! How did you come by them? Are they family heirlooms? I wish I could quilt only half as good. Thanks for sharing.
Make it a scrappy happy day!

Holy Hannah that is gorgeous!!! I absolutely love everything about it ... fabric selection, applique & piecing technique, and of course the quilting. BRAVO to both of you!!!

Outstanding quilt!! I do hope this one is intended to be shown. It's a winner.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

That is a gorgeous quilt. Now the big question is... what is the pattern? Please!! Not that I need another bucket list quilt, but you never know when the urge will strike to make another beautiful quilt.

Squeeeeee! Oh Becky, I knew you were the one to quilt this quilt for me, it is absolutely gorgeous, I can't wait till it gets here!

I don't do needle-turn applique, I use the starch and press method over templar plastic.
This is the book the patterns came from
    http://www.amazon.com/Applique-Desig...ique+my+mother
I also made up some of my own to bring the quilt up to the size I wanted.

I did all the applique during the night hours doing home hospice for my father in law in 2010.
Thanks for the kind words and
    Becky...SQUEEE

The quilt is very pretty. I love all the designs in the blocks. The quilting really makes those blocks stand out. The yoyos are really used creatively. Great work, both of you.
