    My sister wanted a quilt made with this pattern for a church raffle, with a money limit for fabric. I found a bundle of fat quarters for this and the picture shows the end product. Just worried about the color. Hope people dont mind the fall color scheme. If she doesnt want it I guess I will try again. The quilting is simple but I didnt think it would show with the busy fabric. I made and quilted it on my home machine, so the backing which I dyed is also pieced in a quilt as you go form. The pattern is by Lisa Moore, Quilts with a Twist, called portraits of the sea.

    That is beautiful, love the quilting. All of my quilting is done on my home machine also.

    Don't worry about the colors. Somebody at church will fall in love with it. We all like different colors.
