Beautiful quilt. I think the colors are beautifully distinctive in this quilt. Sometimes, (I think) the Civil War fabrics lack distinction. It is such a lovely group of elements. Really lovely. Please show us again after you quilt it.

This is so nicely done! I love Civil War-era fabrics and colors and these BOMs carry it off so well. I'll have to find that pattern. . . Thanks for posting this one. Please post the quilted quilt when you are finished!

I think it is just gorgeous. I love the light colors. Civil war quilts do not have to be dark and brown . They used a lot of color but most have faded over the years. I refused to make any of those quilts because I don't like "dark". One day I was in a shop I really like and the owner said that is a mistake made by many quilters. She took me by the hand and showed me the reds, greens, blues, pinks and golds. She got my attention and now I am hooked!!!

Gorgeous!!! Amazing!!! What a beautiful accomplishment. I was following this BOW and having so much fun getting just one block done a week and then life got in the way and it is now a UFO. You have inspired me to pull it out of the drawer and start making blocks again. I think I am about half way thru. Hopefully, after the holidays the chaos will slow down and I can get back to sewing again. Thank you so much for sharing your finished top. Please share with us when you have it quilted.
