    I also purchased this downloadable pattern. I got as far as making the sewing machines but I wasn't satisfied with the way the six pieces of felt patterns were going together. They just didn't seem to be exactly the same size. I trimmed them a bit but then still wasn't happy with them. I set them aside and haven't gotten back to finishing them. Do you have any advice about how to get them to be more even as they are glued together.

    I was careful to glue them together as close to the outlines of the pieces as possible, but there was some trimming involved after they dried. They aren't perfect, but it gives them "dimension" :-) Once they hang and you aren't on top of them, you really can't notice the small discrepancies.
