I am a very new quilter and just tried the cross-hatching for the first time. I really struggled to keep the cross-hatching uniform. Mine has a lot of mis-measurements. What pattern did you use to make the cross-hatching so perfect?

Actually I didn't use a pattern. I just eyeballed it going corner to corner - very slowly. I seem to do better when I don't mark or plan anything. Good thing you can't see it up close because it is far from perfect.

I have that magazine and want to get started, but made the mistake of saying that I'd do it with my sister. She never follows through on any planned projects and I get SO agitated.

Yours is gorgeous!!! I think it is just the sweetest little quilt!

GRRRRR!!! (Not at you but my sister!)

Beautiful soft colors! It would make a great baby quilt if you think it's too small.
