Retro Spoon and Fork
I made this as a wedding present, it is a 13" x 21" wall hanging that could also be used as a table topper or even a large trivet as I used insul-brite as the batting. Along with this, I also bought 3 large serving bowls that were on the bride's registry. You can see one of the bowls in the 1st picture. I was wishing I had a bunch of lemons to put in the bowl, but all I could find was this lonely orange. Thanks for looking!

Here is a link to the pattern that I loosely used: http://www.cherryblossomsquiltingstu...-giveaway.html. Don't you love her quilting?
To answer "love to sew", I just used a tight zigzag stitch, almost like a satin stitch. Not knowing how it is going to be used since it is a gift, I wanted to make sure it will hold up to multiple washings. If she uses it as a wall hanging, then a looser zigzag would have been fine.
