so you switched out the applique for all embroidery in the hoop? Wow, that sounds difficult! But a wonderful job--it's gorgeous.

Please don't Suzie, this one took a couple of months, each block was 90-120minutes, it would take longer if appliquing though. Had to wait for son to take a month's holiday in order for me to take over the dining area to put it together!

Not difficult at all, just skip the applique section and continue sewing.

I couldn't afford the Duponi so settled for satin. Your block is beautiful and the framing is gorgeous.

What a great idea for a small wall hanging just for me. Do you recall what type stabilizer you used and was it a 75/11 needle? Yours turned out beautiful. Thanks for the idea.
