    Default Rise and Shine

My youngest daughter gifted my hubby and I with the news that we were to be grandparents. So off to my pattern and fabric stash I went. I finally settled on an old Quiltmaker pattern from 2007. I used the colors suggested (especially since she was having a boy) blues, purples, yellows, golds and neutrals. Since my daughter loves Dr. Seuss, I used a panel and Dr. Seuss fabric for the backing.

My grandson was born this past August and hubby and I went to meet him early this month. I got to spend two weeks cuddling and spoiling my new grandson Lincoln, and visiting with my sweet daughter and son-in-law.

    Here is Lincoln's quilt.

    That's a beautiful two-sided quilt . . . perfect to cuddle a growing baby!
