Hello all, I entered two quilts in our (UK) National Quilt Championships for the first time this year and got two rosettes! The seagull wall hanging 'Flying High' had won my regional show here in the South West and took 3rd in the Nationals and 'Deconstructing Clarice' got a Judge's Merit in the special theme category 'Art Deco Revival'. I was so chuffed it was ages before I calmed down enough to walk round and pay attention to all the other quilts on show. I forgot to take my camera (doh!) but my DH took these pics with his phone.
I got the entry forms for next year and am already cooking up ideas.  :D

Both are extremely beautiful. The Seagull looks so majestic soaring and the OBW with the added applique is unique. I love them both.

Congratulations on the rosettes. Both very well deserved. I love the Clarice Cliff one particularly.
