I am having a great time. I have one that I need to get in the mail tomorrow and one just got to me and I am already spinning the wheels in my brain figuring what to do with it! I don't normally piece quilts--usually just applique, but.........both of these tops called for something different and it has been a challenge for me! I guess you just get comfortable doing one thing and boy this has been a reat challenge for me!

wow! You are just amazing.
This round robin is so much fun to watch.

I'd like to do this for VERY BEGINNER quilters.
All I can do so far is make squares, and sometimes they
turn out round! LOL!

Ok, I have this beautiful square, ok, it's a circle.....
So, I'm looking thru ALL my fabric and can you believe I have NOTHING and I do mean NOTHING that matches?
With all this fabric I have, NOTHING even comes close! I don't believe it. I was telling hubby and he says "you've got to be kidding, all that fabric you have and nothing matches?"
Yup, I says. Told him to come look.
We look in EVERY drawer, on EVERY shelf and NOTHING, and he agrees....NOTHING even comes close! lol

So, guess what I get to do tomorrow? I get to go to Ben Franklins and get fabric! WOOHOO! Ok, I'm only going to get what will match. Yea, right! NOT!! I have to get a little something for myself too, right?
I just hope they have what I'm looking for, not that I KNOW what I'm looking for. lol

BEN FRANKLINS?

My gosh, I didn't know they even existed still.

Two years ago I was walking through downtown Aachen Germany and ran across a.....

Woolworths!

What's that English term? Gobsmacked?

Buy a bit for yourself and tell your husband I told you it was OK.

Teri, I know what you're talking about. I had nothing either. I was a little distressed when that beautiful block came, so perfect in every way, and I had nothing to compliment it, either color or pattern. I, quite frankly, didn't know what to do.

However, I've just finished putting my border on Dawn's block. I took pictures of it, but I'm having trouble with the camera. I'm going to try to take another picture and upload it.

I'll have to take it outside and shoot it. I can't vouch for how nice it will look outdoors.

I'll be sending it out in the mail tomorrow. So, head's up. It'll come in its usual priority mail pace.

:-)
